Angels hit perfect note for Children's Games: Cleveland's own Singing Angels have been around the world, but Cleveland will always be their home, and so it was especially fitting that they performed at the International Children's Games on July 31 and Aug. 1 on the Cleveland Clinic Stage. The numbers included "On the Road" again -- a musical medley of the Angels' travels over the years, and a great way to welcome children from the around the world to Cleveland. For images, please click here.

July Fourth: The Singing Angels started the day with a solemn dedication at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Cleveland’s Public Square. Twenty-four Angels sang as a historical marker was dedicated at this 110-year-old monument. The entire performing chorus was then brought together at the Berea Fairgrounds to sing a joint concert with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra at Summerfest.  Many Angel families were among the roughly 1,000 people who heard the show. This event attracted a great deal of attention, and was featured on local news.  The Angels were featured on “19 Action News” that day, and it may be because the cameraman was former Angel Brett Rudolph.

Champ Car race is a big hit: At right, the Angels sing the National Anthem just before the start of the Champ Car Grand Prix of Cleveland on July 3, 2004. The performance apped off a series of events that included a special concert for guests and employees of Bridgestone/Firestone, which generously included the Angels in planning for the event and even helped put the group's logo on all the Champ Cars for the race.Click here for all the pictures!

Angels salute military comptrollers: Before an enormous national audience of base leaders at the Cleveland Convention Center, the Singing Angels were privileged to sing an all-patriotic set that wowed everyone in attendance. Especially popular at the June 4, 2004, concert was the salute to the five branches of the Armed Forces.
