This was a very special evening for The Singing Angels: Thanks in large part to the efforts of parent Rich Edelman, who is a lieutenant with the Mayfield Village Police Department, the Angels were able to take part in the inauguration of the Village's new Civic Center. The evening benefited the Share Our Strength Hunger Drive. Because of Lt. Edelman's support and that of Village Mayor Bruce Rinker, the Angels also received a gift -- the news that Mayfield Village was creating the Mayfield Village Scholarship Fund to support this great experience for area young people who might otherwise face impossible financial hurdles in taking part. The Singing Angels send their deepest thanks to Lt. Edelman, Mayor Rinker and the people of Mayfield Village for this wonderful gift. Future performances in Mayfield Village are already being planned.
